The SAP OTC Manager will possess an effective mix of leadership, communication, business analysis and project management skills to guide the Order Management function thru a complex SAP ERP implementation and ongoing continuous improvement. Utilizing these skills, the SAP OTC Manager will be responsible for the working within a team to complete the implementation of the SAP OTC applications across North America.
Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with a diverse project team comprised of 15 – 20 business, technical and external consulting resources to streamline key business processes thru the implementation of the SD module contained in SAP ERP system.
  • Development of key project deliverables to support the implementation of the SAP OTC applications.
  • Supervise the OTC configuration team as well as participate and be the knowledge expert in the SAP OTC applications area.
  • Participate in the design and development of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancement and Forms) specifications to complete custom development identified as part of the go live. Be the approver of RICEF requirements for the OTC Team.
  • Provide project metrics to support the management of key project milestones and deliverables.
  • Build strong internal & external customer relationships by aligning system solutions to changing business requirements.
  • Stay current with new technologies especially within the SAP SD area to align technologies with the business direction.
  • Support the development and enforcement of the policies and procedures for the introduction of application development enhancements.
  • The position will require approximately 35% travel, mostly in the US and Canada.
  • A proven functional professional, with experience in full lifecycle SAP R/3 ERP implementations.
  • 5+ years of experience in a functional or technical role within OTC working on implementations in at least one manufacturing and distribution organization.
  • A proven resource in defining system requirements with the ability to configure and design the OTC processes/applications based on those requirements.
  • Hands-on, practical experience with systems implementation methodologies and configuration management.
  • Knowledge of configuration relative to batch management, batch determination, pricing, billing, order management and delivery in SAP.
  • Be familiar with master data that affects the OTC process including but not limited to material masters, activity types, customer masters, pricing, order types, etc.
  • Have experience in creating RICEF specifications to support custom development needed to support the Order Management functional design.
  • Experience with SAP On-Going Technical and Application Support.
